Penrhos Residential Home was established in 1988. Penrhos residential home is a purpose built care home for the elderly in South Wales. The residential home has all ground floor accommodation with both single and double rooms. Furnished to a high standard, we have a high level of care for the elderly. We offer residential elderly care for long-term stays, convalescence care, respite breaks, or holidays. Our care philosophy is as follows: Ensure residents are provided with a warm, comfortable, safe and pleasant home environment, provide discreet professional care with respect for personal dignity and right of choice and tailor personal care to meet the individual's needs. Staff are all trained and receive on-going training. All staff are qualified and their backgrounds are thoroughly checked and cross checked. Three meals a day are provided plus early morning, mid morning, mid afternoon and evening tea. Refreshments are always available on demand and are free to visitors. Frequently replenished fruit bowls are distributed throughout the lounges. Menus are changed daily and offer a range of choices. Special dietary needs are catered for.
